Description

The brand new Rover P6 series was launched in 1963. At the time, Rover was seen as a sophisticated, technology-orientated brand and wanted to build on its reputation with the P6. The model was marketed as the Rover 2000 in a nod to its 1978cc engine. Following the engine's upgrade with SU twin carburettors, this 124 hp saloon was called the 2000 TC (Twin Carburettor).

The P6 was ambitious in terms of design and quality. The model's DeDion rear axle and highly unusual front axle with horizontal shock absorbers prove it. The front axle was designed to make room for a gas turbine engine, which ultimately never went into production. But the square-designed engine could manage high continuous speeds as well as high speeds on the newly constructed motorways.

The Rover 2000 TC is a fast and comfortable long-distance vehicle that can carry up to five passengers. The interior features high-quality leather seats and exudes style, quality and comfort. The model on offer is for delivery in Switzerland.
